Free online GLB & glTF viewer
Halcyone Maker's 3D model viewer lets you open .glb and .gltffiles instantly in your browser. Drag & drop a file to rotate it, zoom in, and play back every animation it contains. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for — and because the file is read locally, your model never leaves your device.
How to view a 3D model
- Drag a .glb or .gltf file onto the page, or click Open file.
- Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom, and right-drag to pan.
- Pick an animation from the dropdown, then play, pause or change its speed.
Why use this instead of macOS Quick Look?
The default macOS preview can only play a single animation and gives you no way to switch clips. This viewer lists every animation embedded in the file so you can check each motion — handy when a model bundles idle, walk, wave, dance and more into one file.
Frequently asked questions
Is this GLB viewer really free?
Yes. It is completely free, with no account and no limits. The viewer runs entirely in your browser.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your model is read and rendered locally in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded to a server, so your files stay private on your device.
Which file formats are supported?
Binary glTF (.glb) and glTF (.gltf). Self-contained .glb files work best because all meshes, materials, textures and animations are packed into a single file.
Can I play animations?
Yes. Every animation clip embedded in the file appears in a dropdown — switch between them, play or pause, and adjust playback speed.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. It runs in any modern browser. Unlike the macOS Quick Look preview, you can switch between multiple animations here.
